Can Zoom translate meetings in real time?
Yes. Zoom provides native translated captions for eligible accounts when the feature is enabled. JotMe lets a participant translate a Zoom meeting from a Mac or Windows computer without asking the host to change the meeting settings. JotMe displays live translated captions and can also produce translated speech.
How do I turn on translation in a Zoom meeting?
For Zoom's native feature, the account owner or administrator must enable automated captions and translated captions, then make the required language pairs available. If the setting is unavailable or locked, open JotMe, select the spoken and target languages, and click Start. JotMe works alongside Zoom without host approval.
Is Zoom translation free?
Zoom's native translated captions require an eligible Business Plus or Enterprise plan, or an assigned Translated Captions add-on, according to Zoom's current requirements.
