For everyday writing and reading
A supplier email, product update, and quick reply call for different wording. Paste your text, choose the target language, and add a preference such as a more formal tone. Read the result beside the original, then copy it into the email or message you are preparing.
Translate a whole documentMake the wording fit the moment
Add a plain-language translation preference when your message needs a particular tone. A formal supplier email and a friendly team reply can each keep the style that fits the reader.
Translate as you dictateKeep the original close to your reply
Read the source and translation together, then copy the result into the message or document you are preparing. Saved translations let you find useful wording again later.

View usage detailsHow do I translate a text passage?
Paste it into Text translation, choose the target language, and review the output beside the source. Add a translation preference if you need a different tone, then copy the result.
Can I make the translation more formal?
Yes. Translation preference accepts a plain instruction such as making the writing more formal. Check that the result still preserves the intended meaning.
Can I translate a whole PDF here?
Use PDF translation for a PDF file. Pasting its extracted text into Text translation is a different workflow and does not preserve the document layout.
Can I share a text translation as a translated file link?
Shared translated files support documents, images, audio, and video. A text translation does not create that kind of shared file. Copy the text or continue in a translated chat.
Can I try it for free?
JotMe has a free plan with usage allowances. Check current pricing and the balance shown in the app before starting. Free does not mean unlimited use, and different tools use different allowances.
Is my content processed online?
Yes. JotMe processes content online, including in the desktop app. Review the privacy guide and your organization’s requirements for the material you plan to use.
Does text translation use AI credits?
Text translation uses chat translation tokens. Documents and images use AI credits, while media dubbing uses translation minutes. Check the balance for the tool you are using rather than treating these units as interchangeable.
